The marriage of Michael Thomas & Rebekah Flynn (my niece)
The celebration and fellowship continued into the the following day where as many as 10 families gathered to reminisce, to share photos & stories...
Alas! And Did My Savior Bleed
Alas! and did my Saviour bleed, and did my Sovereign die?
Would He devote that sacred head for such a worm as I?
Was it for crimes that I had done He groaned upon the tree?
Amazing pity! grace unknown! and love beyond degree!
Well might the sun in darkness hide, and shut His glories in,
When Christ, the Mighty maker, died for man, the creature’s sins.
Thy body slain, sweet Jesus, Thine, and bathed in its own blood
While the firm mark of Wrath Divine His soul in anguish stood.
Thus might I hide my blushing face while his dear Cross appears;
Dissolved my heart in thankfulness, and melt mine eyes to tears.
But drops of grief can ne’er repay the debt of love I owe;
Here, Lord, I give myself away, ‘tis all that I can do.

Wasn't it wonderful? Wish we'd stayed for the day after! But, boy, did we get snow.
Good morning! Yes, it was so special! It's great to have such an extended "family" to share it all with... so many friends that are like family... and yours is one of the longest held friendships I have!!
I am very thankful!!!
What lovely wedding pictures, Mrs. Lueken! I saw a lot of them in Michael's blog. I wish we could have been there! My family says hello to yours... Ü
